On with the game release information:

There's never a dull moment when you're Nancy Drew, but when
you take a trip to Japan with Bess and George for some
much-needed time off, terror strikes  the ryokan (inn) you
checked into has become victim to a harrowing experience as
reports of a ghastly specter emerge and are driving away
patrons. Can you help Nancy solve the mystery behind this
apparent apparition or will something far more insidious rear
its terrifying head from within the Shadow at the Water's
Edge?

Join Nancy Drew as she heads to Japan for a stay in a
traditional family ryokan (inn), only to get pulled into yet
another enigmatic endeavor. As you guide Nancy through the
clues and immerse yourself in the frightening mystery of the
haunted inn, you'll experience Japanese culture - learning
about origami, tea ceremonies and calligraphy - and get to
play fun mini games on her cell phone as the story unfolds.
Two difficulty settings welcome sleuths of all skill levels
to join in on the mystery, and if you miss a vital clue or
commit some fatal error, the game reverts to a previous point
so you don't have to start over from the beginning. Can you
solve the mystery behind this haunted inn or will the vengeful
spirit get you, too?

Two difficulty levels - Junior and Senior detective - let you
set your own pace, and if you slip up while following the
clues, the game sends you back to a previous point so you can
pick up before your fatal mistake
